Dr. Elias Aatazaz completed his basic medical training from King Edward Medical College, Lahore, Pakistan in 2004. He completed his Fellowship from the Royal College of Anaesthesia, London (FRCA) and Fellowship from Royal College of Anaesthesia, Ireland (FCARCSI) in 2013. After attaining comprehensive training in anaesthesia, critical care, and pain management, he acquired a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT), UK in 2017. Dr. Elias Aatazaz has over 12 years of work experience in various teaching and district hospitals across UK. As a consultant anaesthetist and intensivist, he developed special interest in obstetrics, perioperative, advanced regional anaesthesia, and critical care management. In Pakistan he worked in Mayo Hospital Lahore, which is a tertiary referral center that has over 2,000 beds. He has undertaken training as a Clinical Educational Leadership Fellow; was PLAB (Professional Linguistic and Board) Examiner for General Medical Council, London; a Certified Instructor of MOET (Managing Obstetrics Emergency and Trauma) course t run by Resuscitation Council UK; has delivered over 50 presentations in conferences at national and international level; and has numerous publications in esteemed journals.
